Vehicles Collide on Rout 22
State police investigated a two-vehicle accident on Route 22 west of Blairsville about 4:49 p.m. Wednesday.
The mishap occurred, according to state police, when a westbound vehicle, operated by Kenneth J. Bojarski of 1613 Lincoln Ave., Library, collided with an eastbound vehicle operated by Darla Beaty of 1916 Crestmont Dr., Aliquippa.
Beaty was admitted to Latrobe Area Hospital for treatment of an orbital fracture. She is listed in fair condition

Richard P. "Dick" Myers
Army Veteran, Latrobe Bulletin Retiree
Richard P. "Dick" Myers, 66, of Bradenville died Saturday, June 13, 2009, in Excela Health Hospice Inpatient Unit, Jeannette.
He was born Sept. 24, 1942, in Latrobe, a son of the late James H. and Regina A. (Quinn) Myers.
Richard was a member of St. John the Evangelist Church and its choir.
He was a veteran of the Vietnam era, having served in the U.S. Army. He was retired from The Latrobe Bulletin with 48 years of service. He was a member of FOE Tony Angelo Aerie 01188, and an avid bowler for both the FOE and Friday Seniors.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, John Myers.
Richard is survived by his wife of 27 years, Patricia Kozlesky Myers; five brothers, James H. Myers and his wife, Elaine, of Latrobe, Kenneth F. Myers and his wife, Betty, of Derry, Thomas J. Myers and his wife, Debbie, of Largo, Fla., Fred Myers of Jeannette and Joseph Myers and his wife, Ann, of West- minster, Md.; four sisters, Corrine "Janice" Myers of Pittsburgh, Rose Marnell and her husband, Eric, of Cape Neddick, Maine, Regina Myers of Pittsburgh and Kathleen Wenk and her husband, Larry, of Champion; his mother-in-law, Edith Kozlesky of Latrobe, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in John J. Lopatich Funeral Home Inc., 601 Weldon St., Latrobe.
FOE Aerie 01188 will hold a service 7 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home. Military service will be conducted 9:15 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home by Thomas B. Anderson American Legion Post 515 and Paul Lizza VFW Post 3414.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. John the Evangelist Church, Latrobe, with the Rev. Anthony J. Carbone as celebrant.
Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Unity Town- ship. Memorial contributions may be made to St. John the Evangelist Church, 306 St. John Drive, Latrobe, PA 15650.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff of Excela Health Hospice Inpatient Unit, Jeannette, for their care and compassion throughout this diffi- cult time.

Patricia Lynne Kozlesky and Richard Paul Myers, both of Latrobe, pledged vows of marriage June 4 in St. John the Evangelist Church, Latrobe.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Albert A. Kozlesky of Debora Drive and James H. Myers Sr. of St. Clair Street.
The Rev. John Szczesny, associate pastor, was celebrant of the 1 late afternoon, double-ring nuptial mass amid two bouquets of pink carnations and white spider mums.
Thirty-five guests were on hand and heard selections by organist Patricia Ochs.
Ann L. Leonard served as maid of honor for her friend, while James H. Myers Jr. was best man in his brother's wedding.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a princess-style gown of layered chiffon designed with a V. neckline and sheer bishop sleeves. Alencon lace and seed pearls accented the bodice, sleeves and hemline of the skirt, which draped into a chapel-length train. A walkinglength veil and blusher, enhanced with lace, fell from a matching lacetrimmed headpiece. She carried a lace-covered Bible under 'a silk cascade of white stephanotis, white orchids and pink sweetheart roses. Maid of honor was attired in a suede rose qiana gown, trimmed with crocheted lace and styled with narrow shoulder straps, and a sheer cape. Her silk bouquet contained white azaleas, lavender violets and pink roses. A small cluster of lavender violets and pink roses served as her headpiece.
Mother of bride chose an aqua chiffon gown and cape and a purse corsage of white silk gardenias. During the mass, the bride's mother and Mrs. Lillian Jones, the bride's maternal grandmother, were presented with a white silk peace rose.
Carbone's Restaurant, Crabtree was the reception site. Upon returning from a honeymoon trip to Erie, Cedar Point Amusement Park, Sandusky, Ohio, and Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada, the newlyweds are residing in Bradenville.
Both are Latrobe High School graduates. She is employed in the display advertising department of The Latrobe Bulletin, while he is a printer for the same newspaper.
Pre-nuptial events. included a bridal shower given by the bride's aunt, Mrs. Virginia Sauers, at her Derry home.
The wedding day coincided with the bride's birthday.
