  Michal Houghton, the daughter of Benjamin and Zerviah (Moore) Houghton. She was born on 22 June 1725 in Lancaster, Worcester County, Massachusetts and was christened on 25 July 1725 in Lancaster, Worcester County, Massachusetts. Michal and Ephraim filed marriage intentions on 6 March 1748. They were married by Justice Houghton in a double wedding, joined by her sister, Keziah and Ebenezer Buss.
