She immigrated in 1656 to Québec, Canada, after the death of her father. A contract for the marriage of Marie and Pierre Gadois was signed on 6 May 1657 in Montréal, Québec, Canada. It was drawn up by notary Saint-Père. The marriage of Marie and Pierre was annulled on 30 August 1660 by Monsignor Pétrée due to alleged infertility.
