  Andrew Rogers, a lifelong resident of Phillipsport, where he served as Justice of the Peace and conducted a barber shop, died on March 26, of a complication of diseases, after three years' illness, at the age of 59 years. Mr. Rogers was born at Spring Glen, Jan. 2, 1864, a son of Robert Rogers and Mary Lynch. He was united in marriage Nov. 25, 1882, at Phillipsport, to Mary Travis. He had spent all his life in the vicinity where he died. He was a member of the Methodist Church and also of the Maccabees. The surviving members of the family are the widow, three children, Lizzie, wife of James F. Waters, and Frankie, wife of Elmer Wood, of Goshen; George Rogers, of Phillipsport. The following brothers and sisters also survive: E. Rogers, of Cornwall; Denham Rogers, T. Rogers and Mrs. Thomas Bailey, of Keyport, N.J.; and Mrs. George Chandler, of Brooklyn.
