  GALLAGHER—Leo P. Gallagher, 81, 10 Chestnut St., died Monday at 6 p.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, after long illness. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. F. Gerard Hughes, Chenango Bridge, Mrs. John R. Cox, Chenango Bridge; two sons, John F. Gallagher, and William P. Gallagher, both of Binghamton; 20 grandchildren; two brothers, Aloysius Patrick F. J. Gallagher, Drexel Hill, Pa., Sewell, N. J.; also several nieces and nephews. He was a District Superintendent of the A&P, retiring in 1953 after 42 years of service. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 206 and its Fourth Degree Assemble, of St. Patrick's Church and its Holy Name Society and the United Commercial Travelers for 50 years. Funeral services will be held at 8:30 a. m. Thursday at the McDevitt Brothers Funeral Home, 88-90 Front St. and at 9 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Published by The Press and Sun-Bulletin, 27 March 1968

Simonds performed the ceremony, after which a wedding breakfast was served at the home of the bride on Munsell street to the immediate relatives. The bridesmaid was Gertrude Fitzgerald, while A. S. Gallagher, A brother of the groom, acted as best man. Mrs. Gallagher is a popular young woman of this city and Mr. Gallagher is an employee of the the Newell & Truesdell Company.
