| Text | Army Veteran, Latrobe Bulletin Retiree Richard P. "Dick" Myers, 66, of Bradenville died Saturday, June 13, 2009, in Excela Health Hospice Inpatient Unit, Jeannette. He was born Sept. 24, 1942, in Latrobe, a son of the late James H. and Regina A. (Quinn) Myers. Richard was a member of St. John the Evangelist Church and its choir. He was a veteran of the Vietnam era, having served in the U.S. Army. He was retired from The Latrobe Bulletin with 48 years of service. He was a member of FOE Tony Angelo Aerie 01188, and an avid bowler for both the FOE and Friday Seniors. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, John Myers. Richard is survived by his wife of 27 years, Patricia Kozlesky Myers; five brothers, James H. Myers and his wife, Elaine, of Latrobe, Kenneth F. Myers and his wife, Betty, of Derry, Thomas J. Myers and his wife, Debbie, of Largo, Fla., Fred Myers of Jeannette and Joseph Myers and his wife, Ann, of West- minster, Md.; four sisters, Corrine "Janice" Myers of Pittsburgh, Rose Marnell and her husband, Eric, of Cape Neddick, Maine, Regina Myers of Pittsburgh and Kathleen Wenk and her husband, Larry, of Champion; his mother-in-law, Edith Kozlesky of Latrobe, and numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in John J. Lopatich Funeral Home Inc., 601 Weldon St., Latrobe. FOE Aerie 01188 will hold a service 7 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home. Military service will be conducted 9:15 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home by Thomas B. Anderson American Legion Post 515 and Paul Lizza VFW Post 3414. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. John the Evangelist Church, Latrobe, with the Rev. Anthony J. Carbone as celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Unity Town- ship. Memorial contributions may be made to St. John the Evangelist Church, 306 St. John Drive, Latrobe, PA 15650.
