  Text	Robert B. 'Crackers' Evans Trinity Member, Latrobe Steel Retiree Robert B. 'Crackers'* Evans, 67, of Latrobe died Thursday, Aug. 9, 2001, in Latrobe Area Hospital. Born Aug. 24, 1933, in Dunlo, Cambria County, he was a son of the late Robert Evans and Nora (Caldwell) Syster. He was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Latrobe. Prior to his retirement in 1994, Mr. Evans was employed by Latrobe Steel Co., having 30 years of service. He also was a member of the Latrobe FOE Aerie 01188 and enjoyed gardening. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Nancy L. Zitterbart Evans; three children, Linda L. Smith (and her husband, John) of Latrobe, Randy B. Evans of Bethel Park and I Debbie J. Myers (and her husband, Thomas) of Latrobe, and five grandchildren, Neil M. Smith, Sheri, Brock and Amy Evans and Kari Himler. Friends will be received in Hartman-Graziano Funeral Home Inc., 1500 Ligonier St., Latrobe, 7 to 9 p.m. Friday and noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, at which time funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel with the Trinity Lutheran pastors officiating. Private interment will follow in Unity Cemetery, Unity Township.
