| Text | The funeral of Mrs. Mary Bombard, whose death oecurred at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Nettie Hewey, at Bellows Falls, was held this morning at 9 o'clock at Holy Angels' church with the Rev. L. Desrochers officiating. Interment was in Holy Cross cemetery, the Rev. P. J. Sweeney officiating at the grave. Mrs. Bombard was the widow of Peter Bombard and a former resident of St. Albans. She was born in Alburg August 26, 1840, being over 90 years old. She is survived by one son, Lewis Bombard, of this city; two daughters, Mrs. Nettie Hewey, of Bellows Falls, and Mrs. E. W. Jones, of Bristol, Conn., who was unable to attend the funeral on account of illness; three grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. The bearers were Adolphus Turcotte, Louis Girard, Thomas Lawyea, Lewis Menard. | |
