    SMITH-OAKES

    . Archie D. Smith, of Mifflinburg, and Miss Rachel Oakes, of near Watsontown, were united in marriage Thursday, April 12th, at the Reformed parsonage at Watsontown. The ring ceremony was used and was performed by the pastor, Rev. P. A. DeLong. Following the wedding, Mr. and Mrs. Smith left on a honeymoon by automobile. Mr. Smith is engaged in business in Mifflinburg. His bride recently returned from Philadelphia, where she was in training for a nurse they will make their home in Mifflinburg. Their many friends join in extending best wishes.
